Nokia 3310 was one of the remarkable items that I remember from my childhood. Just like the charcoal stove, my father's typewriter, and my mother's display case. The phone was notable for its durability, but more than that, I remember the hours I spent playing Snake on it. Did you remember the legendary game Snake? I was in love with it. Now, you can play it on the URL bar. Give it a try; it brought me a glimpse of the joy I remembered from my childhood. - When I say “alphabetical order”, I mean “alphabetical order” - link
Intuitive design is undoubtedly a challenging task. That's a nice example of it. I'm in the same camp as the author. I expect the machine to follow my input, not get in my way.

- Jaguar Land Rover has been struggling for a while with cyber attacks. They nearly brought them to the edge of shutdown. But for some reason, I see very little news about it. Thanks to Gergely, I have a little more insight about it.
How is this not bigger news in tech/security circles. Jaguar Land Lover lost $250M (£200M) and counting thanks to a cyberattack that it still couldn’t mitigate. This is growing every week. The cost of underinvesting in security is very real. 1+ month recovery is bonkers

I'm following raptitude.com for quite a some time. I enjoy his style of putting things on paper in an unexpected way. In this article, he talks about the routes we pass during our lifetime both literarily and metaphorically. His post encouraged me to go straight through the woods. At least time to time. I hope it'll do you too.
By the time you’re an adult, most of your life is spent traveling on paths of your own creation. In your youth, there’s frequent branch-breaking and ankle-rolling, because everything is new. This friction is unavoidable, although the adults in your life can guide you along.

🎥 Frames of Thought
Compelling videos I stumbled upon — essays, interviews, talks, or short docs.
- I made a mechanical laptop, by flurples - link
I admire the creativity and hard work of people in the DIY culture. I am amazed to see how they transitioned from an idea to an actual product. You'll see how they changed their laptop keyboard to a mechanical one. Of course, several other external factors make things a little easier for them, such as the modularity of the framework laptops. However, knowing how to take advantage of those is the art of the crafter. I'm mentioning it to show how open source, both hardware and software, makes the world a better place. Not to downgrade the value of their magnificent work. I don't think that's possible even if I intend to do so.
P.S.: I came across this video thanks to Cassidoo's newsletter, which I have been following for years.
- The Ruby community has a DHH problem, by Tekin - link
After I reach to end of this article, I deeply felt sad. Not just for Tekin or myself only, but for the all of the people that needs to experience such non-sense.

- Full-breadth Developers, by Justin Searls - link
Do you believe the product and engineering roles should be strictly segregated?
I define myself as a problem solver. I enjoy wearing multiple hats in a team, so I kind of position myself in the middle. However, I also respect individuals who choose to focus on specific domains. However, the expectations from developers are increasing daily. In this article, the author puts his perspective on why the future lies in being a full-breadth developer. What he meant by full-breadth is being product-minded, understanding users'/businesses' needs, and being able to guide the technical side accordingly.
Even though I don't agree with him on all the topics he discussed, I find their post valuable. Especially for people in technical roles and managers who have IC reports.

- Recently, I moved to Synaps Media from Ghost.org. It was a flawless switch for me. Their support is very helpful. If you are looking for an affordable alternative to Ghost.org then I'd suggest you to give it a try. I'm also planning to write my own journey but until then here a journey of another blogger on this migration.
